Back to old clothes and porridge

The garden party was a bit of a non-event but the rain stayed off, the sun shone and it did make me smile to see dearly beloved in his kiltie outfit. Here's his impression of a living advertisement. Unfortunately I forgot to issue smile instructions for him.

Aren't his kilt shoes amazing? Very uncomfortable I'm told. Now he knows what women have to put up with!

You both look fantastic.....so did he wear underwear or not in front of the Q.??? Di many of the fellas wear kilts? Have to say though they are so, so smart. Love them. Bet you both made heads turn when you arrived. Which Tartan is it that dh wore?

Best Wishes

Oooh handsome (we're not fooled by the lack of a grin!)

Love the shoes, too.

You make a very elegant couple!

That is a beautiful photo of you Sally. I bet you even outshone the Queen with that lovely smile. Makes up for DB's rather sour face. But who can blame him when he knew you were going to blog the photos. My DB would have had an even more dour face.
